It's officially my FAVORITE time of year, which means... Fall Mini Sessions are OPEN!

Can we all agree that Michigan absolutely understands the assignment when it comes to fall? 🍂 For about three glorious weeks, it shows off with the brightest reds, oranges, and golds you've ever seen... and that's exactly when I'll be photographing this year's minis.

We'll be hanging out at the gorgeous Blandford Nature Center during peak color season (early through late October), soaking up all the cozy autumn vibes while your family does what they do best!

It’s been a few days since the gorgeous Dominican Republic and we’ve personally just taken some hard hitting changes. When stress or anxiety hits, photography is still a space that I can just exist with peace. One of my favorite things to photograph is flowers. In tropical climates, it feels like I get to just exist among the brightest colors and simply play. These floral “tiny worlds” were captured using my Canon R5 and 100mm prime micro lens. (A favorite of mine for micro shots or portraits!)

Some places stay with you long after you’ve unpacked your suitcase. (Let’s be real I haven’t unpacked my suitcase — Nick Lake did for me 😂)

Last week we had the incredible honor of traveling to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic to photograph Mitch & Kali’s absolutely stunning wedding at Finest Punta Cana and an unforgettable week it was!

Being invited into such an important chapter of someone’s story—and getting to experience it alongside two incredible families—is something I’ll never take for granted.

I keep telling everyone I’m retired from weddings… and then someone asks and I just can’t seem to say no.

To Mitch & Kali, thank you for trusting me with your memories. It was a genuine privilege to document your beginning, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have been part of it.

Now… who’s ready to see just how gorgeous this wedding was?
