I may wander until I don't know where I am
But Im never lost
These are the times I feel the closest to home.
Where I find beauty over grown
Where the wild things capture my attention
And the soft breeze kisses me with affection.
Nature's love has always been so tender
Devoted and true
She has never let me down
Upon my head she places my crown
If you ever care to know the real me

I've kept a few poetry journals since I was a sophomore in highschool.
Most of them I purposefully destroyed so that no one would ever read them. I was very private with my writings, and I still am mostly...
But, every so often I have the urge to read back at the ones that survived. And because they survived, I am slowly pushing myself to share them.

I stumbled upon a cute little walking path today.
Unfortunately I've been pretty under the weather, so the rain cut my adventure short.
