I’m Austin—the face behind Austin Nicole Photography!

A few fun facts about me 😜

• I’m a wife and mama to the sweetest little girl, Emma. Becoming a mom has changed the way I photograph weddings. I notice the little in-between moments even more now—the hugs, the tears, the proud smiles from parents, and all the moments that become family heirlooms.

• Before photography became my full-time career, I spent five years as an elementary teacher. If you’ve ever wondered why I can wrangle 30 family members into a photo in just a few minutes…now you know 😂

• I also have a psychology degree! Turns out understanding people has been one of the greatest tools in my business. Whether it’s calming pre-ceremony nerves, making camera-shy couples feel comfortable, or reading the room when emotions are running high, it helps me create genuine moments instead of forced ones.

• I’m a self-proclaimed timeline nerd. Give me a color-coded schedule, and I’m a happy girl. I truly believe the best wedding days are the ones where you feel present—not rushed—and that’s why I spend so much time helping my couples build timelines that actually work.

• When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll usually find me enjoying our little slice of country life, spending time with my family, chasing after a toddler, or dreaming up my next project (because apparently I don’t know how to sit still 😂)

At the end of the day, my goal isn’t just to deliver beautiful photos. It’s to make you feel cared for, celebrated, and completely at ease from the moment you inquire until long after your wedding day is over.

There’s something about slowing down and watching nature work that feels like a good reminder for wedding planning.

After photographing so many weddings, I’ve noticed one thing: the couples who enjoy their day the most aren’t the ones with the biggest budgets or the most elaborate details. They’re the ones who intentionally make space to be present.

Your flowers will wilt. The cake will be eaten. The dance floor will eventually empty.

But the way you looked at each other during your first dance the hugs from your grandparents, the tears during your vowels and the laughter with your favorite people…those are the moments that stay with you.

Plan a beautiful wedding, absolutely. Just don’t forget to plan a day you’ll actually get to experience.

Your future self will thank you.
