Comeback Performance Pt. 2

YME Marching Band is back! June 12th they were ready and roaring to go to the Benson parade and show off what they've been working on! Due to an unfortunate event, the Benson parade was a no-go. They needed to cancel. Did they let that get them down?

HECK NO!

Mr. O, being the awesome Band teacher that he is, threw together a last minute performance for the people who matter most to us. The community, including a performance in front of Richter Field before the game! It was truly an event you did not want to miss. I couldn't stop smiling and waves of emotions were felt at knowing my oldest boy was apart of something so epic.

Keeping up with these spring chickens was quite a feat for me as well but I hope I managed to capture the experience through photos to get you all ready and excited for their performance this Saturday in the Western Fest parade!

Comeback Performance Pt. 1

Captured a Goldenrod Crab spider while at my son's baseball game in Minneota!

Did you know they are ambush predators and eat bees and moths? They wait patiently on flowers for their prey and can change between white and yellow to better blend in with the flowers.
