Words that came to mind as I documented Oliver & Bailey’s wedding day: sweet, slow, serene, grounded. They don’t share a loud love, but one that is tender, quiet, steady & just between them. One that is captured between the exchanging of glances & a gentle embrace. 🥹

Truly one of the most special times I’ve had getting to know a family & a couple.

A few of my favorite film stills from this emotional, passion-filled Oregon Coast elopement film. 🎞️

Sanich & Aleksandra (also translated to Sasha & Sasha) are originally from Ukraine but live now on the east coast. A creative, artistic photo + video duo. It meant a lot to have their trust to document their elopement & create a film that reflected them and this day.

They started off the morning slowly getting ready together, taking in the morning views from a cute little Airbnb that Sasha (groom) had just proposed at a few months prior. They took time to hand write their vows before exchanging them that afternoon, speaking solely in Ukrainian, in front of a handful of family & friends. They spent the rest of the evening exploring the redwoods & chasing the sunlight on the beach.

This past year brought a handful of films spoken in languages that I’m not accustomed to; Russian, Ukrainian, Romanian. And one thing I’ve come to know is that love is truly a universal language.
Although I didn’t fully understand their vows when they were spoken, I could feel them.

A love that is truly palpable.

A postcard from May. 💌

Lauren married John Paul on the very stoops of her childhood home, the exact spot she’d always pictured. For one day, the house was reimagined as a garden dreamscape, layered in neutrals and the softest spring hues.

The reception felt less like a wedding and more like a long evening at a favorite neighborhood haunt. Inspired by their first true date at in NYC, the space was transformed into an intimate setting for their closest friends and family. Handwritten notes at every setting, a three-course meal with wine pairings, and custom menus marked with their initials. It was exactly what they wanted: a day filled with intention, the feeling of a perfect night out, shared with the people who matter most.

“Although today is your wedding day, marriage is more than this. Your great marriage, like all marriages, won’t just happen. It must be created.” 🌼

This love story truly felt like a hallmark movie. A hay farmer and a badass firefighter bride. The mixture of quiet and steady meets bold and beautiful.

Kory & Makila were married at Dowling Ranch, a place that felt way more like Wyoming than California. Their September wedding carried the feeling of the American West at its most refined. Black tie, reimagined; black suits, black cowboy hats, whiskey in hand, ci**rs lit as the sun fell and truly the most stunning sunset I have ever seen in my life.
