Autumn proved to be a good time to visit the Yorkshire Arboretum 🌳🌲🌳

Not since my time living on the Cumbria/Northumbria border have I had the pleasure of seeing red squirrels 🐿️

Sadly, the ‘native’ Red Squirrel is classed as endangered, with less than 30,000 now thought to be living in England 😔

Filey Steampunk Weekend

A weekend of walking on the East Coast to coincide with the Filey Steampunk Weekend.

Another great event with a tremendous feel-good factor. Even the sun made a rare appearance ☀️ The attention to detail was amazing as always.

A different ‘Boxing Day Walk’ and Post-Christmas Walk this year around two sections of White Rock Lake, Dallas. A contrast to the urban walk of Christmas Day.

A few additions to the wildlife I see back home in the UK and definitely a first for me to see these in the wild. What a privilege this was! 🇺🇸
