There’s something pretty special about getting the call from a national magazine to photograph one of our own local businesses.
I recently had the pleasure of creating brand photography for Abercrombie & Co. Stoves and Awnings, and getting a behind the scenes look at this multigenerational family business made the assignment even better.
Jim’s daughter, Ash, has now taken the helm, and you’d think she had been running the place forever. She’s knowledgeable, passionate, professional, and carries the family business forward so seamlessly.
And now that we’re starting to feel that first little shift toward fall, the timing couldn’t be better.
If a new fireplace, fireplace insert, stove or awning has been on your list, shop local and go meet Ash and the team. Walk through the showroom, ask questions, see the options in person, and work with a local family that knows their stuff.

And for me? Getting to tell the story of a local business through images that will be seen on a national level is exactly the kind of work I love to do.
Local business. Generational story. National spotlight. That’s pretty darn cool.
