A big branch fell off a tree at the rear of our yard. About 10-feet long and HEAVY!

Susan hollered for at me to clean it up.

I told her I'm just the guy who mows the lawn.

She told me to clean up the branch, I've been promoted -

I'm now the Branch Manager!!

Senior portraits for Andrew on Monday!

We created some amazing portraits in our outdoor photography area. Then we captured Andrew in the driver's seat of the hot rod car that a friend brought over for the portraits.

We finished with some poses on greenscreen that I'll render onto some fun backgrounds to show Andrew hot-rodding in his wheelchair!

I can't believe he graduates from high school this year!

So the good news is that we have lots of maple and pine trees around our property.

And that's also the "bad news"!

I spent most the day Sunday trimming our trees.

Those beautiful maple trees were hanging on the power lines from the street to our house. And one of our old pine trees had dipped branches almost down to the lawn.

And then there are those dead branches . . . who put them so high off the ground? I can't reach that high!

I stayed safe on my ladder, using a long-handled electric trimmer.

Lots of work, but worth it to keep our house safe and our lawn and trees looking good!

Of course, since I had all the tools out anyway, I checked with my neighbors and trimmed a couple of branches on their side, as well.

I love photographing seniors, whether for high school or college.

This is such a pivotal moment in their lives, and these portraits are a way to "freeze" that moment in time!

I work with my clients to find out about their interests, and work with them to create a variety of looks and moods.

It's not just about "taking pictures" . . . for me, it's about creating art that speaks about the person in the portrait.
