This photograph is called “Irrawaddy Cast”. It was on display as part of a show I did on a trip to Burma at Miraval Resort and Spa. Katie saw it when she visited and I am proud to see it in her home.

Well, it was quite a year. In a previous post I joyfully danced out of the cancer center at Phelps. Then a few months later we discovered that a bit of Lymphoma wasn’t interested in leaving me quite yet. So, a bit of surgery and radiation got me ready for my miracle cure. CAR T-cell therapy. Here I am last July with a bag of my re-engineered cells ready to be infused. Hours later they began their mission of searching my bloodstream for Lymphoma cells and “DESTROYING” them. It was like being treated on the Starship Enterprise. So amazing. A very grateful Scott smiles below in early spring.
Thank you all for caring about me. Much appreciated and helpful.

Here is a link that explains this miracle of science. Fascinating.

I’m here at the University of Virginia for my 50th reunion. I and 8 of my fellow studio art majors created a group show celebrating our 50 years of making art as artists and professionals. Coming together in Mr Jefferson’s rotunda was an honor and a privilege for all of us.

I took an early morning drive from the Berkshires to Lake Placid for the eclipse. It was good to be back in the Adirondacks where I spent so many years photographing them for the State of New York. This was my first total eclipse and literally seeing stars as the darkness came on was breathtaking. It was worth the 7 hour (normally 3) drive home with all of the thousands who had joined me to celebrate this celestial event.
