Kara Counard (thats me!) is a Wisconsin-based lifestyle and wedding photographer, but her camera loves to travel. She loves capturing all those little moments that really add up to the big stuff. There is less posing and more real-life beauty. You can remember those everyday things your children did at a certain age. Your shoot is dedicated to telling the story of your family. Or you can look back

and see the story of your wedding day, told in photographs that really captured the essence of the day, instead of lots of props and stylized scenes. You get to be yourself. Here's Toni and Darren's Door County love story!

We started off the day at their house in Sister Bay. Then they got married at Country House in Sister Bay. And the reception was at Barringers in Fish Creek! We had to make a stop at The Peach Barn and Anderson Dock, in between! It was a day filled with tears of joy! And I was so happy to be there!

Nate and Amanda are at the top of my editing list! So, I've been staring at their beautiful faces. And I wanted to share a preview of their June wedding!
The getting ready photos were from The Legacy Hotel. They got married at their church, Bay City. We did the portraits at Barkhausen, before celebrating at Stadium View in Green Bay!

Loveliness and happiness abound! This couple was clearly blessed!

Ann and Steve got married on June 6th, at Heritage Hill, in Green Bay.

It was an intimate celebration, surrounded by family and close friends. I'm so happy they chose me to photograph their wedding.

These are some of my favorite photos from the day. I might have gone a little heavy on the super cute grandchildren. And you definitely should scroll through to see Steve's reaction at the alter.
