The new year came WAY too fast for me, sadly, this will be my final post to my page and I just wanted to say a few things..

I have such an overwhelming appreciation for all the love and support I’ve received throughout the years. I’ve learned and grown so much from my first session in 2016, it blows me away to see the progress I’ve made. It’s a little bit funny and coincidental that the very first “session” I took *cough cough* (Alyssa & Corey) was a maternity session preparing to bring their first baby, Layna, into this world. Fast forward almost 10 years and one of my last sessions I photographed was their family of 6 🤍

These last few months have been a whirlwind, life has been SO crazy busy, juggling a full time daycare, being SO booked with my photography business and throwing my custom sweater sales into the mix.

I’ve had a few hiccups this year with my inbox having a mind of it’s own with messages not coming though, along with a few hiccups recently with gallery uploads, but everyone (for the most part 🙃😂) has been EXTREMELY understanding and had nothing but kind words, and for those, I am so thankful, you definitely got me through the stressful times.

For those who gave the kindest words upon receiving your galleries & all the love you’ve shown because of that, thank you from the bottom of my heart, your support means the world ♥️

I’m sad to be putting the camera down, but I’m excited for what the future holds. I will say, I AM looking forward to figuring out what I’ll do with all my free time in the new year 😂

Hey all!

I’ve been pretty quiet here on my socials the last few months, that hasn’t been on accident. Quite a bit has been going on behind the scenes and I wanted to be transparent about life currently, stick with me because this will be a lengthy post 🙃

Over the last few years i’ve worked so hard to build up this business, learned and absorbed as much as I possibly could to give my best to my clients, but sometimes life takes you in different directions. Over the course of the last few months, i’ve felt life has been pulling me down a different path, one that focuses more on my family.

Life at home has been extremely busy. We’ve completed a duplex renovation and we are getting ready to purchase a second duplex to turn into a rental property, something we will continue to do and turn into a family business one day. Along side of that, I had also opened an in home daycare to add to our crazy lives. With those aspects of our life continuing to grow within the next few years, coupled with our plans to also grow our family alongs side of that, i’ve had to do some thinking about what needs to come first.

I will be closing my books at the end of 2024, at that time I will also be deactivating my business page until further notice. This MAY be temporary, but at this time i’m not sure if or when I would be ready to reactivate my page and take on clients again. I love photography, I don’t have plans to ever put it down, I will continue to second shoot along side of Natasha for the foreseeable future, just not as frequently as I have been the last few years. I am planning to continue photography myself on more of a hobby basis going forward, just not at a professional level as I have been these last few years.

To address my availability for the remainder of the year, I am closing my books through the rest of the summer and unfortunately the fall as well. I have availability in November to take 1-2 sessions and possibly 1-2 in December as well. I was fortunate enough to have booked in advance this summer and filled up SO fast, so I had to close my books early.

I am truly so grateful beyond words for the people who have booked and returned time and time again, the new and old clients who have put their trust in me year after year. I love you all SO MUCH, thank you, thank you, thank you all 🫶

Sneak peak & gallery delivery update:

Both my daughter and I have been super sick with a nasty stomach bug since about Tuesday so there has been a delay in response in messages, I’ve also not been able to work on editing much at all for the week!

Session sneaks from last weekend *may* be a few days delayed, but this weekend I’m planning to try and get those out to you! I’ve been off duty for all household chores so once I get my house back in order I plan to work on those! ♥️
