With some new branding photos and new faces on my page, I thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself!

I'm Mercedes, the face behind Mercy Photography.
Photography has always been more than just taking pictures for me. It's about telling stories, creating art, and preserving the moments that matter most.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me creating something new, traveling, camping, or spending time with the people I love most... especially my three dogs and my cat. 🐾

My goal is to create images that feel real, timeless, and full of emotion. It truly means the world that you've chosen to support my small business and trust me with your memories.

There's just something about a session in the Tetons that never gets old. 🤍⛰️

No matter how many times I photograph here, I'm always in awe of the incredible mountain views, golden light, and the unforgettable moments each couple brings. Every session feels unique, and I'm so grateful I get to capture love in one of Wyoming's most beautiful places.

Wyoming Travel Series | Saratoga, Wyoming | Self Portraits

Saratoga, Wyoming, is one of those charming mountain towns that makes you want to slow down and explore. I visited on a Sunday, so quite a few businesses were closed, but the downtown area was still full of character.

One place you should definitely add to your list is The Palomino Hat Bar. Not only can you customize your own western hat with unique bands, feathers, charms, and branding details, but they also have the cutest western inspired clothing and accessories.

Just 30 minutes outside of Saratoga, I found West Lake Marie Trailhead. The mountain views and peaceful scenery made it one of my favorite stops on this trip, and it was the perfect place to capture some self portraits.

Wyoming Travel Series | Cokeville, Wyoming | Self Portraits

I drove up the mountain from Cokeville and stumbled into absolute wildflower heaven.

Check out how much lighting changes the mood of a photograph. These images were taken in the same location, just at different times of day. Afternoon brings bright, vibrant colors, while sunset creates a softer, golden, more dreamy feel.

Finally catching up after the last couple of busy weeks!

All client galleries will be sent out tomorrow! This Saturday, I'll be in Gillette, Wyoming, capturing a beautiful wedding, and on Sunday, I'll be in Albion Basin, Utah, for Senior, Couples, and Family Sessions.
