Born in Alaska, and raised in Washington State, I tend to have a natural appreciation for beautiful landscapes and wildlife of the Pacific Northwest. I have been interested in photography most of my life, but it's only in recent years I've had the opportunity to devote more time to what has become one of my passions. I have traveled to Italy a few times and have discovered new subjects for my phot
ography including not only landscapes, but historic architecture, art, as well as the people of this beautiful land. My work is focused on staying true to the scene and image I saw when I photographed it. Software is used to develop digital photographs, of course, however my focus is to maintain the integrity of the image photographed, processing the file only for the purpose of clarity of color, contrast, light, shadow present, rather than creating an image via software that never existed in the first place. With this in mind, it's important to understand that today's camera sensor technology can capture light and color we usually cannot see with the human eye, which should enhance the viewers enjoyment and appreciation of the image. Some software tools can increase the dramatic effect of an image as it suits the photographer, who usually is trying to convey the sense of drama the scene communicated to them when they photographed it. are digital downloads for both Royalty Free Commercial use for websites and other publishing needs, and Royalty Free Personal Use, including other products such as fine art prints, canvas wraps, metal mural, or smaller prints. These are printed and produced by some of the finest vendors in the USA, yielding very high quality. Other services, such as books or calendars can be made available as well. Since photography is not my primary profession, I do not have time to devote to other services, such as wedding photography, or personal portraiture. Like many conscientious photographers, I am always in a state of learning, and am my own worst critic. If you're interested in an image and can't purchase it in large sizes, such as 16x20 or larger, please feel free to contact me. I can probably reload a higher resolution image for you.
