Last night I drive down to Nimisila, which is not too far from me, in the hopes that I would get a glimpse of the Northern Lights. I went on my own and didn't take a tripod with me so the image below is handheld and from the inside of my car. I stayed for maybe 1/2 hour, and as you can see a Great Blue Heron kept me company.
I'm so happy to say that I finally got to see a little bit of the Norther Lights where I live! You can see the pinks and green from the sky as it reflects on the water. The stars were also quite beautiful!
As dark as it was, you can still see the light pollution in the image.

Sharing photos from this year's air show in Cleveland. This year the main attraction was the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds!
For those wanting to know where these were taken, I shot these at Wendy Park and sat close to the volleyball area.

I wanted to give a big thank you to the buyer from New Franklin who bought a framed image of the Haserot Angel. I’ve sold this image to buyers from Texas, Florida, and Minnesota in the last few years, but I thought it was pretty cool to have someone just down the street purchasing my work. I have no idea who it is but I just wanted to express my gratitude 😊

Sharing a few photos from last night's fireworks at McKinley monument in the The City of Canton, Ohio. I've been photographing fireworks there almost every year for the last several years, and I still think its one of the best places to see fireworks. Love seeing all the families enjoying themselves. I do miss the music that went along with the fireworks, and the canon fired by the civil war actors. Hope they'll bring that back one day.
The police did such a great job keeping us safe and directing traffic. I always have the best time with my family there!

The Goodyear Blimp is 100 years old! How fortunate we are that we're able to photograph all three of them in the 330!! I've seen so many great pics of them in the air. Paying homage to this beautiful aircraft with some photos from this evening at sunset.

I'm hoping everyone is enjoying all this sun! This dragonfly surely is :) Love all the little details of it's wings and how intricate the patterns are of the entire body.

It's been a full year since I've posted on this page! But I wanted to share a few photos I took yesterday evening. I decided to head out to the Stark library (Sippo Lake) to see the eaglets, hoping that their little heads would pop up from the nest. I've been a bit out of practice from my wildlife photography due to the limitations of my dumb foot surgery lol. But the area where these eagles reside is pretty easy to watch and photograph them. So if you have mobility issues and want to see some beautiful eagles up close, (well fairly close) this is a wonderful area to visit. While I was there, I got to hang out with some new photography friends as well. I'm thinking the eaglets will become fledglings soon. They look about ready to leave the nest.

Something fun I did with a Starling photo that I took while in Seahouses, England. It landed so very close to me that it was nice to get such wonderful detail. I took a few shots before it flew away. There are several layers to this image of texture as well as my own images.

The tour company that we did was Serenity Farne Island Boat tour. They corresponded with me very well via email. We delayed our trip to Berwick because the boat tour was cancelled. But they followed up with me to tell me that they would sail the following day. Nice people!
