It's Friday y'all! What is your favorite flower to photograph? Share in the comments below! 📸

Every Friday feels like a little reminder to slow down and notice the beauty around us.
The way morning light catches a petal. The colors that seem almost too perfect to be real. The tiny details that would go unnoticed if we didn't stop long enough to see them.

Photography has taught me that beauty isn't always found in grand adventures or extraordinary moments. Sometimes it's growing quietly in a garden bed, swaying in the breeze along a walking trail, or blooming beside a country road.

I'm so incredibly thankful for this life—the opportunity to explore, create, and share these little pieces of the world through my lens. Every flower I photograph is a reminder that there is still so much beauty waiting to be discovered.

🇺🇸 A Moment That Gets Me Every Time 🇺🇸

Every year during Indy 500 Memorial Day weekend, there is a moment that brings tears to my eyes.

It's seeing our nation's men and women in uniform standing together—representing every branch, every rank, every story of service and sacrifice.

As the spouse of an active-duty sailor, those moments mean a little more to me. I know the long days, missed holidays, deployments, uncertainty, and quiet sacrifices that military families make behind the scenes. So when I see service members honored on one of America's biggest stages, my heart swells with pride and gratitude.

The Indy 500 is known for speed, tradition, and excitement, but Memorial Day weekend reminded us of something even greater: the heroes who gave everything for this country and the families who carry their memory forward.

When the National Anthem plays, the flyover shakes the sky, and our military members stand proudly before a sea of spectators, it serves as a powerful reminder that freedom has never been free.

I am grateful for those who serve, those who have served, and especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

May we never forget the brave men and women whose courage allows us to gather, celebrate, and enjoy the freedoms we hold dear.

Memorial Day isn’t just a long weekend, cookouts, or the unofficial start of summer.
For many families, it’s a day filled with silence where someone should still be sitting at the table. It’s folded flags, old photographs, dog tags tucked away in drawers, and names that are never spoken without emotion behind them.

This weekend is about remembering the men and women who never made it home — the ones who gave everything, and the families who continue carrying that loss long after the ceremonies end.

Freedom has always come at a cost. And for some, Memorial Day is not a celebration… it’s remembrance.

Take a moment this weekend to look beyond the sales, the parties, and the day off. Remember the sacrifice behind it all. 🇺🇸

Some days I still have to stop and remind myself that my work has been published in multiple magazines.

Little pieces of my heart, my vision, and the way I see the world… printed onto real pages for others to experience. And honestly? That feeling never gets old.

Photography has always been so much more to me than taking pictures. It’s emotion. It’s connection. It’s finding beauty in fleeting moments and preserving them forever.

For a long time, I questioned myself quietly. Wondered if I was “good enough.” Wondered if what I created truly mattered.

But seeing my work published has reminded me that art does not have to be loud to be meaningful. Soft things matter too. Honest things matter. The way I see the world matters.

And that feeling? It’s incredibly special. 🤍
To everyone who has trusted me to capture their stories, supported my work, shared my name, or encouraged me along the way — thank you. You’ve helped me believe in myself more than you know.
