She came in and understood the assignment. 😮‍💨

We played with a few different looks during her session, but I especially loved getting a little more creative with the straps and giving her something darker and more edgy than the usual.

And she absolutely owned it.

This is why I love giving my clients room to play during their sessions. You don’t have to come in knowing exactly what every photo is going to look like. Sometimes we start with one idea, try something a little different, and end up creating some of my favorite images from the entire day.

Okay… should I bring the roses back?! 🌹

This was such a fun theme to create because it was simple, but it photographed SO beautifully. The deep red roses against the darker set gave everything this romantic, dramatic feel without needing a ton of extras.

And looking back at these images now, I’m kind of wondering why I ever stopped using them. 😂

I love having little themes like this because they give you a completely different look without turning your entire session into something super themed or over the top. We can still make it feel sexy, moody, soft, or dramatic depending on what you wear and how we style everything.

So tell me… do the roses deserve a comeback?

I just found out this beautiful babe is a MOMMY now and I swear it made my whole heart melt. 🥹

It’s so wild getting to photograph women during one chapter of their lives and then seeing where life takes them afterward.

When she came into the studio, we were focused on creating something beautiful for her, having fun, and giving her a day where she could just feel good in her own skin. Now, knowing that she’s stepped into an entirely new season of life makes looking back at these images feel even sweeter.

This is one of my favorite parts of what I do. I get to meet women at so many different points in their lives, and sometimes I’m lucky enough to watch those stories keep unfolding long after their session is over.

These two came into the studio and absolutely blew it out of the water. 😂

Couples sessions have such a different energy because instead of me only focusing on one person, I’m watching how the two of you naturally interact and then building from there. The little looks, the touching, the laughing, the moments where you completely forget I’m even standing there with a camera… that’s where the good stuff happens.

And these two made my job VERY easy.

We started off a little more relaxed, got them comfortable in front of the camera, and then the session definitely got spicier as we went along. 😅

I can’t show you everything we created for obvious reasons, but just know the ones staying private are GOOD.

If you’ve ever thought about doing a couples bo***ir session with your person, consider this your sign.

This gorgeous bride booked her bo***ir session as a surprise for her now HUSBAND, which meant we had to keep everything under wraps until after the wedding.

Now that they’re officially married, she gave me permission to share a few favorites!

There is something about bridal bo***ir that I absolutely love. You already have so many exciting things happening around you leading up to the wedding, and then you get to sneak away and create something that is completely unexpected for the person you’re about to marry.

Of course, the gift is for him… but the experience is very much for you too.
