Been impatiently working through healing from a broken wrist the last month or so. Still doing some one handed and tripod work but I know it’s gonna be a lot more fun to get back to carrying the heavy cameras and riding the motorcycles and mopeds to explore locations.

Kernersville’s Railroad Street Mural has been looking a little rough for a while. Considering the state of the wall and side of the building itself, along with tendencies for things like this to disappear when a town or property is renovated, it felt like the time to document it in a little more detail. The mural pays tribute to the residents of Kernersville that actively worked to build and bring the railroad through town. Thus bringing industry and growth through the mid to late 1800s. It’s also one of the first things you see when entering town from Oak Ridge, Colfax, or the back roads from Greensboro.
