Okay y’all… can I be real for a second? 😂

I was NERVOUS for this session. Like, really nervous. Mom was very honest that she didn’t love her last family photos, and I felt the pressure because I wanted so badly to give her a gallery she actually loved.

So when I got the message:
“I LOVEEEE THEM ALL. You did SOOO GOOD.” 🥹🥹🥹

My photographer heart was SO happy. 🤍

This is why I always tell my clients that their story matters.

✨ It sounds a little wild to say this… but I’m heading into my 4th year hosting minis at Jordan Lake Christmas Tree Farm. Every year I show up here so grateful that this little dream keeps growing because of YOU.

This year I’d love to do something extra special—and I want your input as I plan everything.

🎄 CHRISTMAS MINIS ARE COMING.
Outdoor sessions at the tree farm are officially in the works again (my favorite tradition at this point 🥹).

I’m also thinking about an indoor Christmas setup (cozy, lifestyle vibes) or Fall minis (golden light, warm tones, family focus).

BUT.....I want to hear from you.

This session was centered around this sweet little one for her birthday portraits, and I might be biased… but isn’t it just the cutest thing? ✨

This mama gave me full creative freedom, and it turned into complete magic. I mean truly, these are the sessions I live for.

This sweet girl took a minute, but once she did, her personality came out full force! So much sass, so much joy, and such a perfect little reflection of her mom. 🤍

Candid, go with the flow family sessions will always be my favorite. Real moments always win.

And here's to Mrs. + Mrs! 🥂

From the very first conversation, the communication was effortless, and by the time I arrived, it felt less like showing up as the photographer and more like being welcomed as part of the wedding party.

These two made my job easy. The way they look at each other, support each other, and simply exist together speaks volumes. Their love is genuine, comfortable, and full of the kind of connection you can't pose or create. Watching them celebrate surrounded by their favorite people was such an honor.

Some couples are a perfect match, and these two truly feel made for one another. Thank you for trusting me to capture such a beautiful chapter of your story. 🤍
