Watching and photographing the reactions of mothers, best friends, grandmothers, the groom… it all makes my heart so joyful!

The love that is shared during a ceremony is by far the most important.

The rest, an extension of the joy in celebration of the ceremony.

Maybe it’s just me, but I’m not buying it.

Giving my couples space, prompts so they don’t feel awkward, and guidance to feel confidant is KEY when I photograph weddings.

Because I’ve seen what happens when a wedding day turns into a timeline you’re trying to keep up with instead of a day you actually get to feel.

The in-between moments get skipped.
The deep breath before you walk down the aisle disappears.
The quiet “we did it” right after your ceremony gets replaced with “what’s next?”

And those are the moments that matter most.

This is why I approach wedding days differently. I build in what I call "flex time." It's time for life to happen around you while you relish the day and all that it means to you.

Not just as your photographer—
but as someone who helps you create space within your day.

Space to pause.
Space to be present.
Space to actually experience everything you’ve spent so long planning.

Because your wedding was never meant to feel rushed.
It was meant to be lived.

All you do is just take photos for a few hours. How hard can it be?…

Pretty photos is what you see, but what you don’t see is the hours of planning that go into photographing a wedding. The hours of prepping for the day and making sure gear is in tip top shape. The hours of editing. THEN you see the final lovely photo product.

It’s not the big moments you’ll remember most,

Social media has sucked the joy right out of marketing.

Be trendy.

You follow this thing and you do that thing, but it’s all so difficult.

Maybe I’m just getting old, but I want to know someone’s personality and their work. Otherwise, I’m calling or setting up a meeting to hangout. 🤪 I was born in the 90’s ok? I’m old school. 😂
