Had an awesome time photographing the Chicod Volleyball team. These girls showed up with great attitudes, helped hype each other up, and made sure everyone looked their best.

I can’t wait to see the posters we designed hanging up in their gym, they’re going to look incredible.

Such a fun session with an energetic, and all‑around amazing group!

I had the sweetest Friendship Session with my daughter and her longtime friend Grace, two girls who’ve grown up side‑by‑side and still share that effortless, genuine bond. We spent the afternoon at the beach and then wandered into town for some fun “friendship” shots, and they were laughing the entire time. Grace has always had a welcome spot in our home, and capturing the two of them together felt special. Moments like these are why I love what I do.

If you are interested, Friendship Sessions are one of my favorite ways to photograph teens. They take the pressure off a solo session, bring out natural smiles, and even let families share the cost. If you’ve been thinking about booking a session, this is a perfect way to make it fun, relaxed, and meaningful. Tag a family your teen would love to do a friendship session with... and yes, this is great for adults too.

Cute engagment session in Eastern North Carolina.

I had the sweetest evening shooting Maddie and Austin’s engagement photos.

We all rode together, dodged the rain, wrapped up the session under a beautiful sunset, and had the best little helper with us, Emmy. She kept us on time, made sure everyone smiled, and added plenty of laughs along the way.

This family is so special to me. Maddie sings with me at church, and I’ve loved getting to know Austin. Watching them step into this next chapter together feels really meaningful.

Ashtyn headed off to the A.G. Cox 8th grade dance tonight with her bestie, and these two together are just the best. They’re so close that of course I had to mix in both of their photos.

They’re each hilarious on their own, but when they’re together… it’s nonstop laughter. Such a fun night for two amazing girls. Glad we found a little time to grab a few pictures. ❤️❤️

We had a great time at Hannah's graduation session, it was such a fun session. We started on campus to mark the milestone, then headed out to the farm for photos with her horses and her dog... who may or may not have had one signature pose he was really proud to show off. Hannah is stepping into Nuclear Medicine, and any hospital that hires her (which I think they already have) is getting a genuinely awesome person with great energy.
