Fun fact: it’s blazing hot in Florida all the time.

Our cast of actual firefighters were incredible, sticking with us for long takes in gear, driving big engines around as we attempted to get our cabin fly-through oner. I’m incredibly proud of how this spot for + and couldn’t have done it without a cast, crew, and client that were down to do whatever it took to make this thing great.

“The Operator”
Just a few grabs from our latest commercial for SAM Waterflow 💦

This one was a fun one, working with a real fire crew on their training grounds and getting to “smoke it out.” Using the Ronin 4D allowed us to get closer to the action, as we learned to push the camera to its limits with a small and nimble crew.

Some BTS form our latest round of commercials with . 5 spots in 3 days (and nights). This was a fun one… with a 3-person camera operating crew using the Ronin 4D in ways we’ve never used a camera before. We’re excited for you to see the final product when they roll out this spring!

We don’t mind putting on some boots and getting in the mud. In fact, sometimes those are our favorite shoots.

Here are a few grabs from an incredibly fun project we recently wrapped with our new partner .

They are kindred spirits: with a deep and uncompromising commitment to quality, without the compromise of putting people first.

It’s always encouraging to form relationships with companies that share our convictions even though they operate in a completely different field, it’s one of our favorite parts of the work.

We’re ending this year as we do pretty much every year: feeling overwhelming gratitude to the crews we got to work with.

The majority of our work this year called for smaller, more nimble crews. It gave our core team the opportunity to work with some new people while also growing and deepening our craft through experimentation.

We view every project and every set as the opportunity to experience new people. Thank you all for showing up and bringing your creativity. We can’t wait to work with you all again and continue to expand our creative community in 2026!

Here’s a video that’s the product of giving a director and a photographer a VHS camcorder from the 90s and letting them channel their inner dad.

We are firm believers that creativity doesn’t exist inside a vacuum. Collaborating with community always yields the best results for us.

On this project with there were a lot of teams: the client, the contractors/ talent, and our crew. There were plenty of challenges, plenty of roadblocks, but never a point of tension, never a “creative difference.” Just a lot of smart, creative, inventive people trying to problem solve and create the best final product… which is multifaceted when working on a home improvement show!

Invite more people to the table and give them a voice. The final product will be better for it.

Oh… and one other thing: one of the producers and one of the contractors who met on this show are getting married this weekend… so, lots of good things can come from open collaboration.

We did not have time to play tabletop games during filming. We would have lost. But we did try to make it look cool.

With a great crew full of creative collaborators, there’s always something new and fun to try on-set. On this day, it was using an anamorphic lenses to film miniatures in a tabletop.

We wanted the world to feel immersive, but also still like a game (we see hands come into the scene and people actually playing the game). So we started the scene and shot it using the same anamorphic we were using in the rest of the campaign rather than macro lenses.

Results coming soon. They are pretty fun.
