The Montpelier Historical Society will meet this Tuesday, August 25th at 4:30pm at the rendezvous site at 4400N 800E, Montpelier.
We will onsite work until 6:30pm and will then hold our business meeting.

The ABBMR American Big Block Modified Rails were at The Mooreland Free Fair, Inc. 8-10-26 to a dry track. This fairgrounds was under water about 24 hours later. There were only 4 tractors that showed up to this pull.

Ranger Ted drove his Ranger to the Rendezvous to ride his clipper for a few hours mowing the grounds today.

Well I did make it to Fort Recovery Saturday evening to a mist in the air. The track crew had pushed the mud off of the track and reworked it in anticipation of being able to be able to put on a show, but Mother Nature let loose with more water from the sky canceling the evening event. My first time there, so I was only able to get a few shots of the pullers pulling their tractors & trucks back to their trailers. Perhaps Mother Nature will cooperate in 2027.

If you never been to our Rendezvous please come this year, our tenth anniversary! I am proud to say I am one of the folks that helps put this on each year!
