During one of my many drives to and from sessions, I started reflecting on how incredibly special it is that I get to document so many families through multiple seasons of life—from engagement, to wedding day, to maternity, and eventually parenthood.

This session here is yet another sweet couple that I had the privilege of meeting for their engagement, captured their wedding and now, am joyfully documenting their first few days as parents.
 
And somewhere along the way, it dawned on me.
 
I started this business just two years before I got engaged myself. I planned my own wedding alongside so many of you. I was pregnant while photographing many of your wedding days. And now, as I navigate the joy, beauty, and exhaustion of raising a little one, I’m watching many of you experience those same moments too.
 
So I suppose what I’m trying to say is: thank you for growing up with me 🤍

There’s something sacred about an in-home newborn session — the quiet stillness, the softness of a home filled with brand new life, the way time seems to slow down for just a little while.

I love how we have the luxury of time during these sessions to capture the unrushed moments of your family in these first few days — tiny fingers wrapped around yours, sleepy stretches, milk-drunk cuddles and the newborn scrunches you already know you’ll never want to forget 🤍

Your baby’s first home, your first days as parents, the rhythm of your mornings and adjusting to your new normal — these are the details that tell the story of this season. Peaceful, meaningful and oh, so special

I’ve had the incredible honor of documenting this family through so many beautiful seasons of life — from their engagement, to their wedding day, and now watching them grow into a soon-to-be family of five. What began as clients has slowly turned into something so much deeper: dear friends 🤍

One of the greatest gifts this business has given me is the chance to witness love grow in real time, year after year.

There’s something about this season that always feels worth remembering — the slower evenings, blooming trees, tiny hands gathering flowers, and the quiet reminder that each moment is fleeting.

I’m so excited to be offering another round of spring mini sessions. These sessions are intentionally short, relaxed, and emotion-focused.

Now, each session includes your full gallery because as a mother myself, I know how meaningful the in-between moments can be. And it’s hard to put a limit on that.
