2 times within the first year of the studio being open… people really need to be smarter. 1st time the pole was knocked down due to a drunk driver and now someone driving on icy roads when urged to stay home! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Praying a new pole goes up soon.

🚨 This is exactly why we’re asking drivers who are not responding to the winter storm to stay off the roads. We’re grateful this was a telephone phone pole but 20 feet away, it could have been a different story and impacted hundreds with a power outage.

2025 was a BEAUTIFUL year for weddings!!! I had 10 weddings between February-June and it was absolutely marvelous. All of my couples were amazing and I feel so blessed to have been a part of each of their special day!

I shot at 7 new (to me) venues this year!! The venue I shot at the most was the this year!

Two weddings a month was just the speed I needed in this season of life! I was pregnant with Avalynn through all 10 weddings and didn’t even know until after my first one in February!

My average wedding gallery for 2025 had 1200 images in them! 😅

Most of the weddings were over 1.5-2.5 hours away with two of the weddings (first and last of the year) requiring further travel and an overnight stay!

I had 87 wedding inquiries for 2025 but just 10 ended up being the right fit♥️

To all the small business owners out there… Our people will find us!! We don’t have to say yes to every inquiry. It’s okay to set limits on how many clients we take on per year (even though sometimes we want to break them!). Personally, it’s kept me from getting burnt out. I wanted to spend more time with my family in 2025 and I was able to do that!! For 2026, my goal is very similar and now that we have a baby girl, I’ll be making choices very carefully!♥️

Thank you so much to all of my couples who chose me as their wedding photographer in 2025! It means more than you know!! I can’t wait for 2026!! I still have limited spots for 2026 bride and grooms so don’t wait to reach out!!

Just a few sneak peeks from some of my Florida Mini’s while I work on getting the rest of the galleries out!😍 It was wonderful getting to see all of these families and I love that every single family is a repeat client. Almost every one of them I was blessed to photograph on their wedding day and some of them I’ve taken yearly or every other year family photos for 6-8 years!! It’s a true honor to capture these amazing people and their families year after year!!🥹 SO thankful for this job and these people!

Our week in FL with family and friends was so special and it was a blast introducing Avalynn to so many of our favorite people!🥹 She also turned 2 months YESTERDAY!! How has 2 months gone by already?! So thankful for the gift of today and the gift of family/friends!

Heading home to SC now!♥️ love y’all!!

Reminiscing on our 2025 Weddings and looking forward to the ones we have booked for 2026! We are so excited about the couples we have been getting to chat with recently who are in the planning stages of their wedding!!

Maternity leave is coming to a close as sessions start back up again and I’m thrilled to dust off my camera!! 😉 JK, I used it two weeks ago!🥰 but for real, can’t wait to start capturing special moments and seasons again!!

That being said, someone please bring me back to again!! It was a dream!!

I’m SO thankful for this family God has given us.♥️ We still can’t believe he answered our prayer to add a little girl to our family. Despite how hard this season has been these past few weeks, she has brought us SO much joy!!! This has been my hardest postpartum season of all the kiddos and I’m not exactly sure why, but it has been. Jon has been my rock even when we are both in a struggle season with all the things coming our way, but each day is getting a little easier. Transitioning to a family of 6 is an adventure forsure while lots of highs and lows already, a roller coaster to say the least! But we are looking forward to finding our footing And seeing how God will use us this season to grow us as a family, a couple and as parents. ☺️
