The Pure Barre Grosse Pointe team is truly something special ✨

A few years ago, when my family moved to Florida, I found myself still in Grosse Pointe—searching for that sense of community I was missing.

Then I joined Pure Barre, and everything changed. From day one, it felt like home. The instructors knew me by name, asked how nursing school was going, and pushed me to become the best version of myself with every tuck 😉

I’ve met some of my closest friends here. When school or work got tough, PB became my safe space—the place I could move, sweat, and leave it all on the floor.

I’m endlessly grateful for the amazing instructors and every woman who makes this studio such a supportive, empowering community. 💪🩷

✨ This is the founder of Elli’s House, Deb Ellinger! ✨

For the past year & some change, I’ve had the privilege of volunteering with Elli’s House, a nonprofit right here in Detroit. It’s been such a meaningful opportunity to give back to my own community while supporting women who deserve safety, dignity, and hope. 💙

Elli’s House is a 501(c)3 nonprofit serving homeless and runaway women involved in human trafficking in Detroit. Their mission is to abolish s*x trafficking in the city by building relationships, offering safe shelter, and providing education. What began in 2017 as a response to a desperate need has now grown into a full organization providing a two-year residential shelter program, a middle school mentoring program, and weekly street outreach with food, hygiene items, and clothing.

One of the greatest joys of my job is building relationships and capturing the meaningful milestones that make life so special. From their engagement, to their rehearsal dinner, and now their baby shower — it’s been such a privilege to witness and document each chapter of their story.

I’m truly grateful to do what I love, for the trust my families place in me, and for the chance to watch their love deepen and their family grow.
