Love is finding someone to love you as the chaos goblin that you are.
Well- that's how Rachel the bride described it and I can only agree 100%!

Rachel and Tommy were a unique and quirky pair, surrounded by their amazing family and friends, Tommy strolled the aisle to The Pixie's (mega coolness points) and Rachel was walked down by her daughters -how wonderfully original and heartfelt! Married by their very good friend, you could see their love is full of playful spirit and wild magic, and being there to share this beautiful moment filled me with pure happiness.

Oh my we had fun.

Finally the sun came out this past weekend and shared its joy with all of us!

Jessica and Adam were the most amazing couple, so down to earth and grounded. Jessica is an effortless beauty, Adam is a wonderfully sensitive partner and their kids are so cute! We had a blast laughing and joking while almost blowing away with the wind that was lakeside. Literally. I'm surprised we didn't lose Jessica's veil to the lake! But, no matter we used it to our advantage for some EPIC shots!

EPIC WEDDING ALERT!

Ashley and Don have it. They just have IT. These good looking people made my Saturday that much more sunny and beautiful. Ashley, so calm and so cool, Don, so put together but a jester at heart were amazing. True love is such a great thing and I love being the one that gets to capture it, it's a great gig.
Between laughter, guffaws and a little bit of sunglass removal pouting, these two and their gorgeous family were a joy.

The calm right before the storm.

BUT....OMG, it is was the perfect light! Everything has a electric feeling to it right before a storm and similarly, a wedding. The anticipation, the excitement, it's all there.
Though thunder rumbled in the background these two were not deterred in the slightest. They shared their vows and love with a small group of family and it was beautiful.
We got inside after the wedding and it POURED. But 10 minutes later, sunshine and warmth.
Weddings are a lot like that, anticipation, drama, release, and joy.
