Dear 2020,
Thank you!
Thank you for pushing me out of my comfort zone. Thank you for the trials that I was faced with. For without you I would not be the same. I would not have this incredibly beautiful yet undoubtedly difficult perspective on life.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4

It is often in our most difficult moments that something beautiful is born. So if you feel that 2020 has been unrelenting in its affliction I challenge you to see the beauty, see the growth and breathe in a new perspective on life. Our trials don’t have to unfavorably define us.
We can lead with love and compassion. Many have suffered in this year. Let’s use this suffering to serve others well.
Instead of looking for division let’s look into each other’s eyes and find the beauty of life. Life well lived. Albeit imperfectly but well lived. For each day IS a blessing and every person deserves to hear, “you are loved and seen.”

I needed this week more than I even knew! Recovering from major abdominal surgery has really made my mental health suffer!! Way more than I was prepared to handle. I still need to work some things out but this has been a huge start to healing mentally (and physically).
Praising Jesus for his steadfast love even when I am weak!

Of all the people in the world whose laughter and smile you can’t live with out it is this woman right here! literally lights up the world with her smile and infectious laugh. I am so thankful for this incredible Mommy, photographer and friend!
I remember telling my sister that if anyone could make it “big” in the photography industry it would be her. She has the best personality and cares SO much about people.
I am so proud of everything she has accomplished!

Two years ago my hubby received his citizenship! It was such a cool experience! 🇬🇧🇺🇸
The only sad thing is that our family is split between two countries. We wish we could live near both sides of our family!! Praying this virus allows us to visit England again soon. We miss our British family every day!
