Furry friends are still visiting the yard and snacking on the natives in the gardens. Sorry New England asters, this is not your year, maybe next year I will surround you for your protection. By the way, look how big Mini has gotten and check out her tongue! The other pics are of a newer baby that came along after Mini, but there is an even younger one out there. These friends have been busy this year!

The pollinators are enjoying some of the blooms in the garden. They are finding pollen , some from the plants in pots. The woodchucks and rabbits are chewing down a lot of the native plants in the garden, so I bought a few to keep in pots higher up.

This was the second moose of our trip, and again, pretty sure it was the same girl the whole time. She was on the road watching us for awhile, curious to what we were doing. We waited watching her back since we were headed in the direction she was blocking. This was the best pictures I got of her and she seemed happy as long as we were staying put.
