For years now my "about me" section has talked little about me, but more about why you should hire me. Growing up my dream was to have a family of my own. I wanted to get married and I was so very much looking forward to being a mommy. I was married in 2006 to my best friend and soul mate. It was beautiful and all that I hoped it would be even though I was 9 months pregnant LOL. I married a wonder
ful man and it's a joy to be able to share my life with him. Stephen and I had our first little boy, James "Keagan", who is now 14 and is in the 9th grade! He was beautiful with brown hair and blue eyes! Then three and a half years later we had another little boy, Kaiden Lee. He was precious with blue eyes and very light sandy blonde hair, of course...also beautiful! My boys are ever changing and growing up so fast. I'm so proud of them both. Kaiden is the one who loves the camera, he is my little model. He is only 11 but he still loves to take pictures. Keagan really could care less about taking pictures but he does it because he knows it makes me happy! I also have a wonderful bonus son, Ayden Avel, whom I love as my own. He is 15 years old and so sweet! We finally got blessed with our baby girl on April 9, 2014!! Karsyn Breanne is now 6 years old and sooo beautiful! We got a little surprise after Karsyn was born and were blessed with another baby.. Kaelyn Alyse is 5 years old and she is me all made over. My dreams came true, I'm a proud wife and mommy! I started my business in 2010. I've always had a passion for photography. To be honest, I don't have a degree in photography. My opinion is that, if you have an eye for this art, then you can learn the technical side. I feel that God has blessed me with an artistic eye and a creative mind to go with it. I do believe that I am where I am, not because of me and how great I have become, but because God has given me an imaginative tool to use and I hope to shine His light through my work. I have been truly enjoying my life. It's all that I have ever hoped for and SO much more! Thank you Jesus. Just a few arbitrary things about me. I have a love/hate relationship with chocolate. I know, weird. Im OBSESSED and ADDICTED to coffee and all things related LOL. My favorite flower is a Ge**er daisy. I love surprises! Surprise me! I also love being that mom that is able to stay home and not miss out on any milestones with my children! I enjoy every moment I get behind my camera and I hope that you can see that while you look through my albums. ( If you have any questions, I'm an open book please feel free to ask!)
A bit about Rae Shauna Photography. I have been in business since 2010. Looking back through my past contracts, I can see that I am improving as a photographer and an artist, and I am excited of where I am. As I said before I don't have any degrees in photography but I'm always researching and learning new things in hopes of enhancing my craft. I'm inspired by my kids. I love capturing toddlers, they are cute and curious about life. Everything is SO new to them. I admire that. I'm also inspired seeing expectant moms. Being a mom my self, I know the ups and downs of pregnancy! I also know the joys you experience when you feel your baby move for the first time or the nights that your up dreaming of what they will look like or what their name will be. I am also inspired when I see couples in love. Watching a bride and groom bond on their wedding day. The pressures, nerves, is all melted away after they say their "I do's". Anticipating those moment and being able to capture that forever is a wonderful sensation. Thank you for taking the time to read about me.
