Athena & Jake 🤍

A beautiful, busy day filled with so much love, big family energy, and the kind of coastal elegance that feels perfectly at home in New England.

With Saybrook Point as their backdrop, hydrangeas in bloom, boats passing along the water, and their favorite people gathered around them, Jake and Athena’s wedding day was full of meaningful moments from beginning to end.

Their vows were some of the most heartfelt and the happiness between these two was impossible to miss. The way they looked at each other, laughed together, and soaked in every part of the day made it such a joy to document.

A day full of family, happy tears, waterfront views, and two people who were simply so excited to finally be married.

Been waiting to share this one for a while as I slowly play catch-up on the Instagram grid 🤍

Sophie + Troy’s engagement session was nothing short of FUN. From the very beginning, I absolutely loved the dynamic between these two: the laughs, the silliness, the playful energy, and how effortlessly they just fit together.

A little movement, a lot of laughter, and all of those in-between moments shined.

I had the best time running around with these two and capturing this season of their story, and now I’m even more excited to do it all over again when they say “I do” on the Cape next year. 🤍🥂

Some of my favorite days look a little like this. 🌧️☕️

As much as I love the sunshine, there’s something so cozy and grounding about a rainy day. A cup of hot coffee on the front porch, listening to the rain come down, reading a good book, slowing down, and unwinding from the week.

And rainy wedding days? They have a special place in my heart, too.

There’s something about embracing the weather instead of fighting it, leaning into the cozy, romantic feeling of the day, grabbing the umbrellas, running through the rain, and allowing everything to unfold exactly as it’s meant to.

Because the weather was never going to be the most important part of your wedding day anyway. It’s the people, the emotion, the laughter, the little in-between moments, and getting to marry your person.

Sometimes a little rain just makes it all feel that much more romantic.

The Fords 🤍🥂

What a DAY. Valerie and Sean’s wedding was the perfect combination of classic elegance and an absolute party.

Val wanted everything to feel fresh and timeless, and their black-and-white vision came together so beautifully. From her dress and Sean’s classic tux to their wedding party and every thoughtful detail, the entire day felt effortlessly stylish and chic.

But as beautiful as everything was, the emotion is what I’ll remember most. These two are so incredibly loved. I swear every time I turned around, someone else was crying (and I may or may not have been holding back a few tears behind the camera during their vows because… wowza).

They ended the night exactly as they should have: a packed dance floor, a full Venetian hour, a cigar bar, and SO much fun.

Amazing couple, amazing families, and truly the best day. Congratulations to The Fords!!

Alex + Katie 🤍

I loved everything about the way these two planned their engagement session. We started in downtown Fairfield with pizza at Sophie’s before heading to Southport Harbor for those classic coastal Connecticut moments to finish out the evening. 🍕✨

Mixing a casual pizza parlor session with a more traditional engagement session was such a fun idea and felt so personal to them. I always love when couples find ways to make their engagement photos feel like them rather than simply choosing a pretty location.

And, of course, Olive had to join us too 🐾 because including your dog in engagement photos is always a yes in my book.

Such a fun day exploring Fairfield and Southport with these three, and I already can’t wait to celebrate Alex + Katie at the beautiful Burr Mansion in Fairfield next year!

One of the hottest day of the summer so far was worth every second for this one.

Adam planned the sweetest surprise proposal at the iconic Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, and somehow managed to keep it completely under wraps. Fran had absolutely no idea what was coming, and her reaction when he got down on one knee overlooking the ocean was everything.

Getting to witness moments like these never gets old. The excitement, the happy tears, the laughter afterward, it was such an honor to document the start of this next chapter for these two.

Adam & Fran, thank you for trusting me with such an unforgettable milestone. Congratulations again, I couldn’t be happier for you both! 🤍

Is there anything more iconic than summertime in New England?

Long days on the coast, salty air, afternoons spent exploring charming seaside towns, and golden sunsets that make you want to stay outside just a little longer. This time of year always reminds me why I love calling New England home, and why so many of my favorite memories (and photographs) happen here.

Newport is definitely high on my list, but there are so many incredible places to explore this time of year.

What’s your favorite New England summer destination? I’d love to add a few new spots to my list for future trips.
