Well… I finally did it…🩷

For YEARS, I’ve had people tell me, “You should manage social media for businesses.” And honestly, I kept putting it off. I told myself I wasn’t ready, I needed to learn more, or I’d do it “one day.”

Well, one day is today!!!

I’m so excited to officially introduce Social by Shannon — a social media management + content creation service built for businesses that want to show up online but simply don’t have the time, energy, or creativity to do it all themselves.

As a photographer and small business owner myself, I know firsthand how much goes into running a business. You’re answering messages, taking care of customers, doing the actual work, keeping up with everything behind the scenes… and somehow you’re also expected to constantly create content and keep your social media alive.

That’s where I come in.

I help businesses take the pressure off social media through content creation, social media management, captions, Reels, Stories, strategy, engagement, and more.

My goal isn’t to make every business look the same.

It’s to help YOUR business look like YOUR business — just better online.

Whether you’re a brand-new business trying to get noticed, a local business that knows you need to post more, or an established business that simply doesn’t have the time to keep up anymore, I want to help!

Social media should feel like an extension of your business, not another job you have to worry about.

There’s just something about photographs that makes you realize how quickly time is moving. 🤍

One day they’re little, and the next you’re looking at them wondering how they could possibly be old enough to be a senior. These moments, these people, this season of life — it all goes by way too fast.

I hope these photos are something they can look back on years from now and remember exactly what this chapter felt like. So thankful I got to capture a little piece of it for this sweet family. 🫶🏼🌊

Finishing up my last few summer sessions, and I’m not going to lie… it’s a little bittersweet. 🥹

This summer has been so much more than just taking pictures. I’ve met new families, watched little ones grow, reconnected with familiar faces, and gotten to be part of so many sweet moments. Every gallery I send out feels like another little reminder of how quickly these seasons pass.

So as I wrap up my summer sessions, I’m feeling incredibly grateful. Grateful for every booking, every referral, every share, every returning client, and every person who chose me to document their memories.

Summer, you’ve been good to me. 🤍
Now I’m going to soak up these last few golden hours before we turn the page to the next season.

A little break from the beach and into the world of permanent jewelry ✨

I always love getting to do branding sessions for my good friend Hannah! There’s something so fun about getting to switch things up, get creative, and capture her doing what she loves. 🤍

I’m so grateful for the businesses and people who continue to trust me to bring their vision to life. Branding sessions are definitely one of my favorite ways to step outside of my usual beach sessions and create something completely different.

And of course… anytime I get to work with Hannah, I already know we’re going to have fun. 🤩

As summer starts to come to an end, I’ve been thinking a lot about how grateful I am for this season and for every person who has been a part of it! 🥹

I have met so many incredible people this summer, reconnected with so many amazing past clients, and had the opportunity to capture so many moments that I know will mean even more as the years go by!

But beyond the sessions themselves, I’m just incredibly thankful for the support I’ve received this year. Every booking, every referral, every share, every recommendation, every like, and every person who has told a friend about my business has helped me more than you probably realize.

Photography is something I pour so much of my heart into, and being trusted with your families, your milestones, your vacations, and your memories is something I will never take for granted. This business means so much to me, and the people who continue to support it mean even more! 🫶🏼

This summer has truly been such a blessing. I’m ending the season with a very full heart and so much appreciation for everyone who has trusted me to preserve these little pieces of your lives.

And before we officially say goodbye to summer, I want to squeeze in a few more beach sessions!!!!

I’m going to be offering a limited number of end-of-summer beach minis for anyone who has been wanting to get in front of my camera one more time before the season is over.

Sometimes I wonder what photos our kids will treasure most years from now.

It probably won’t be the perfectly posed one.

It’ll be the one where Mom is laughing. Dad is looking at them with that smile. Everyone forgot the camera was even there.

Those are the memories I hope to give every family. 🥹✨📸
