‼️Recapture Report‼️ This redfish with a heart spot showed good growth and didnt move too far. Interesting to see after all the rain and flooding they stay in the same areas. Hopefully I'll be out deploying more tags soon now that I have some house projects wrapped up. Thankfully the recapture angler practiced so we'll get more data from this fish!

‼️Recapture report‼️ I'm late getting to this one but it has a cool story! I caught this redfish one of the first weekends after starting a new job. Then 4 months later it was recaptured by my two coworkers! I believe some of the discrepancy in length was from it being on ice.

Happy New Year! Started the year off with some healthy trout. A couple rat reds and a flounder finished out the slam. Unfortunately one of the bigger trout wouldn't kick away after being hooked in the gills so it will be dinner for the family tonight. They didn't seem to be too picky as I caught fish on every lure that I threw today.

Redfish were cruising and hungry for the crawfish this weekend! The redfish were finding the crawfish easily even in the low light conditions. A reminder that fish don't need light the same way that we do. Also reached a new PB of 8 redfish tagged and released.
