This family brought the perfect mix of connection, personality, and a little bit of fun to their session. From big brother loving on his little brother to the whole family playing together in the sand.

This time, they brought along their brand-new baby boy, and his big sister is already settling into her new role. 🥰 I loved getting to capture these first moments of the four of them together and all the little details that make this season so special.

There are beach people… and then there are BEACH people. 🌊☀️

This beautiful senior traveled all the way down from Vicksburg for her senior portraits because she knew there was only one place she wanted to celebrate this season of life - the beach.

And yes, I can relate. Give me a beach, a pretty sunset, and a camera, and I’m exactly where I want to be. 😉

And can we talk about that gorgeous tan?! She absolutely glowed against the sand and water - the beach was the perfect backdrop for her senior portraits.

Some days, I still have to remind myself that this is actually my job.

While other people are here on vacation, I get to call the beach my workplace. And honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it.

This past week, I met another family visiting the Gulf Coast and had the chance to spend part of their vacation with them, capturing the smiles, the laughs, and all those little moments that make a family beach trip so memorable.

I’m incredibly grateful that photography has given me the opportunity to meet families from all over while they’re making memories right here on our beautiful coast.

One of my favorite things about family sessions is that every family has their own dynamic.

Some are loud and full of laughter. Some are quiet and relaxed. Some spend the whole session teasing each other. This sweet family found that perfect balance of all of it.

Mom said she already has a wall with frames waiting for the images from this sesssion to be placed in them. I love that she already has plans to print them and not just have them sitting on her computer.

The beach gave us the perfect backdrop, but it was this family's connection that made these photos special.

As summer slowly starts to wind down, I’m soaking in every last bit of these beautiful beach sessions on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

It was such a pleasure spending the evening with this family. The coral looked stunning against the soft blues and neutrals of the beach, adding the perfect pop of color to their portraits.

It was also fun discovering that their oldest daughter is an Alpha Chi Omega, just like my daughter. It's always amazing how many little connections you make while meeting new families!

This past week was filled with family beach sessions, and I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend it! My first session of the week was with this adorable family as they prepare to welcome a baby boy very soon.

Big sister was full of personality, and it was so much fun watching her love on her mommy's growing belly. She may not fully understand just how much life is about to change, but one thing is certain, this little boy is already so loved.

Congratulations to this beautiful family! I can't wait to hear all about their newest little adventure. 💙
