What’s ONE thing you did on your wedding day that you’re so glad you did?

I’ll go first.

Aside from choosing my husband, the best decision I made for my wedding day was asking my high school softball coach to officiate our wedding.

He was a huge role model for me growing up, and I always looked at him as a dad. When I asked him to marry us, he went and got ordained and everything. 🥹

Having someone who had played such an important role in my life standing there with us, officiating one of the most important moments of my life, meant more to me than I could ever explain. Eight years later, I would make that same decision a thousand times over. 🤍

Now I wanna hear yours.

Maybe you splurged on the photographer, kept the guest list small, hired a videographer, did a first look, or chose something completely outside the box.

Okay, married people — I wanna hear the wedding regret. 👀

If you could go back and change ONE thing about your wedding day, what would it be?

And I don’t mean the polite answer. 😂 I mean the thing you look back on now and think, “Yep… I would absolutely do that differently.”

It’s been 8 years since my wedding, and after photographing dozens of weddings since, I can think of PLENTY I’d change about my own day.

Mine? The dress.

Looking back at my wedding photos now, I would’ve 100% picked a completely different one. No hesitation. 😂

A little vendor appreciation post for Kaydense 🤍📸

When I needed a second shooter last minute, Kaydense stepped in without hesitation and absolutely showed up for me — and for my couple.

Because she was there capturing the moments happening from another angle while I was working mine, I was able to deliver over 1,100 images in this bride’s final wedding gallery. 🥹

Wedding days move FAST, and having someone beside you who you can trust to catch the moments you physically can’t be in two places for is invaluable.

Kaydense, thank you for stepping up, working your butt off, and helping me give my bride such a full, beautiful gallery. I appreciate you more than you know. 🤍

Let me tell you, if you know Kallie, then you are aware of her many achievements and accolades— so, I’m here to add to the list of things she’s amazing at, & that’s being in front of my camera lens. 🤍

This girl has a heart of gold and a sparkling personality to pair with it.

I loved every minute capturing this beauty, & a MS coast sunset gave us the perfect backdrop for a perfect model.

What I’ve been up to lately 📸

Apparently I’ve been much better at taking pictures than I have been at posting them. 😂

Weddings, maternity sessions, senior casuals, first birthdays, Fresh 48s… and plenty more sitting in my camera roll waiting for their turn.

So consider this my official attempt at catching y’all up on what I’ve been doing behind the camera lately. 🤍

And looking through all of these reminded me just how much I love getting to photograph every season of life.

I literally had to stop myself because at this rate I’d be posting the entire gallery. 😭🤍

From the quiet moments while getting ready, to sweet tears with Mom, to finally marrying her best friend… this day was filled with so much love.
