I always have too many photos I want to share from each session (and yes baby Colter is probably 3 months old now, but better late than never right?). I loved the personal items they brought to make their photos fit their style! He was a dream to photograph!

During our photo shoot, I had a dad ask why I use my big photography flash. It’s a valid question and I had a hard question time answering without showing. So I took photo with and without my light and told him I’d edit them the same. The flash adds dimension, where room lights cause harsh shadows and flat lighting. I also wouldn’t be able to create all the angles of each pose because I kept creating shadows with my body blocking the light. Which do you prefer?
