Shooting a newborn session with toddlers
Is a little more work but it captures the sweetest moments ✨️

Sweet moments like these that can happen here and there are so cherished.

From experience, my son did not want to do anything with his sister 😂 I got one picture of them together and that's the only picture I have framed of them together as babies.

I try to get few sibling pictures and that can mean simple interaction with their sibling while with mom and dad or on their own. They all count with how difficult it can be with toddlers.

But as always, special moments that genuinely happen is my favorite to capture!

When baby & toddler cooperate for the session. It's magical ✨️

BUT it's not always the case! This session was just perfect.

For that reason, that's why I love doing Newborn sessions at the comfort of your own home.

Toddler wants a break ? Sure, they go to play in their familiar space with their toys/room.

Toddler needs snacks? Lunch ? All right there at home.

Baby needs last minute outfit changing because of spit up ? No problem.

Mom needs a break? To eat or feed baby or pump? Go ahead Mama..I'll take pictures of dad and the kids.

It's the comfort feeling of knowing that everything is at hand reach and I am there to capture the special moments.

Home decor is not the focus. A blank wall , a couch or even a small corner with a window works just perfectly enough 👌

First post of the new year and starting it with this gorgeous newborn session 😍

I love these sessions. They are intimate, slow and creates the most special moments to capture.

It's so important to document these little moments when your babies are just born or still tiny.

The changes they go through so fast in the first year is crazy. They will look like different little humans by one.
