Life lately — valentines crafting, collaborative art at the big kiddo’s school, the occasional run and lots of delicious local eats and drinks. Maybe January just set an exceptionally low bar, but February is (until this very moment when I am surely jinxing it) not sucking. 💜

Eleanor turned one last week (!!) and surprised absolutely no one with her enthusiasm for cake. 🥰 She’s the hammiest of hams, just like her sis, and has spoiled us silly with her infectious smile and chill disposition. (She also happens to give the *best* hugs.)

Happiest birthday, Ellie Belly! Thanks for making our second go-round feel like such a tremendous gift. ❤️

Finally got to shoot my fave kinda content a couple weeks ago, and it felt so, so good!

Making this cast iron skillet pizza again this week (we made it, ummm, three times last week 😳) and I popped the recipe on so you can follow suit.

It’s literally The Freaking Easiest Homemade Pizza Ever, requires zero flour-y countertops and ends up with a crisp, burnished, focaccia-like underside and crunchy, cheese-laced edges. Plus I threw in a super lazy (kiddo-friendly!) salad recipe for good measure. Get after it.

This guy and his girls. He’s just the friggin’ best. These past few months have been a whirlwind in so many ways, and he’s just as rock steady as ever — so calm, measured, generous and genuinely present whenever possible. Always quick to sweep into the room with an “ok babe, what can I do to help?” (easily my favorite part of the day most days) or a “can I get you anything?” just about any time he’s moving about and I’m not. I love that he sees our girls for who they’re becoming — and that he still sees me for who I am outside of my role as Mom (and encourages me to see it, too). These are, quite simply, not small things, and I probably (definitely) don’t show my gratitude often enough. Thank you for loving us so, so big, . We sure are lucky to have you. Happy Father’s Day. ❤️

My first ever photo dump! A week of loving on our new little one, Eleanor Jean Stoffel — born at home on 3/3/22 at 5:07am and porkier than her sister by half a pound at 6lbs 13 ounces. 💕

It’s been 8 indulgent days of baby snuggles, movie nights and family picnics in bed, and I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. Chris has (unsurprisingly) been the epitome of support. He’s truly such a *good* human — so genuinely invested in taking care of those around him. And Lana is growing into her new role as big sister beautifully.

I can’t quite adequately express how positive and empowering it was birthing this sweet girl at home. In short: while this delivery was more technically challenging in almost every way than our first, I remember feeling so disappointed with my own performance following Lana’s delivery, whereas this experience truly left me feeling like The Consummate Badass Woman. And the postpartum care associated with our decision to birth at home has protected my physical and mental wellbeing in ways I never could have imagined. Turns out, midwives are truly magical beings, without whom this birth would have unfolded so differently. — Chris and I are so grateful this journey brought us to your care. Thank heavens for your calming steadiness and intuition. ✌🏼✌🏼 You’re truly the best.

39 weeks with this one. 🌸 Lots going on in the ol’ head about how rapidly our world and our dynamic as a family of three is going to change, but at the very core, we’re so curious and excited to see Lana transform into a big sister. Sometimes I wish we shared her more publicly in this space because she is becoming such a cool, smart, funny little human. And if this new one has half her personality? Well, we’re really in for an adventure between the two of them. ❤️

Big thanks to for documenting this sweet transitional time for our family. The whole shoot (we actually captured all three of us for once, not just me! 🤪) is one of my favorites, ever. AND you can hardly even tell we were freezing our freaking asses off. That’s talent, friend! 😂
