"Tom and I took a drive to the Catkills in NY state this past Saturday morning. This bald eagle landed and stayed near us for about an hour, and then flew off over our heads and away (the background is actually the mountains, not the sky). This was taken handheld with the 150-400, at 400mm. I was using bird AI AF. The focus stayed on the bird as it flew away, up into the sky, down against the mountains and across the road."
