Got food? While photographing the Piping Plover family I noticed the mother watch her four chicks. The chicks ran around eating and running like little kids having a blast at the beach. Kind of like us humans do... They ran and ran and ran and when she called they all ran to her and hid under her wings for safety, but only for a short time and then off they went. Enjoy!

Just gotta scratch that itch! Its fun photographing eastern shore birds this time of year. I was able to get a low camaera angle (the birds are only about 5-6 inchs tall. A bit smaller than Robin) which allowed me an intimate view of the world they live. Taken handheld with the M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm F4.5 TC1.25X IS PRO and knee pads!! Enjoy!

The osprey made a spectacular dive into shallow water and was rewared with a fish. I don't know what's more exicting when photographing osprey; is it the dive into the water or the osprey coming out of the water with a fish?
