First of all, hello are all of my clients models or something???? Second, I will die on the hill that there is nothing ~NOTHING~ like a black and white photo. The image has to be captivating in order to *feel* it. There is no color influence. No golden hour safety net. When you strip away the colors, you’re left with light, shadow, texture, and emotion. It either holds weight, or it doesn’t. It forces the viewer to focus on expression, body language, and connection. I’m not always chasing “pretty”, I am always chasing “feeling” 🖤

Also, this maternity session ended in a surprise (for me too!) proposal 😭😭😭 I love loveeee

Sweet Jude’s first birthday session last month 🩵 this was my first time bringing along my vintage-inspired to a session, and it completely confirmed what I already felt about offering as an add-on service. Photos will always hold your memories, but video… that’s where the moments live. The in-between, the movement, the way it all felt in real time.
