With a new Toy Story movie on the horizon, I couldn’t help but think back to this adorable newborn session. From the nursery details to his custom swaddle it was such a fun theme to welcome him home with.

One of my favorite things about in-home newborn sessions is that no two families are the same. Whether you’ve spent months designing a themed nursery, filled the shelves with favorite books, or simply want to remember what life looked like during those first few weeks, those details become part of your story.

Summer beach session season is just getting started, and I couldn’t be more excited for all the sandy toes, salty air, and warm evenings ahead.

Beach sessions are some of my favorite summer evenings to photograph. We walk the shoreline, let the kids explore, chase a few waves, and enjoy everything that makes a Jersey Shore summer feel like summer. Early-season sessions are perfect for warm evenings on the sand, and by August the ocean has usually warmed up enough for those water-at-your-feet moments everyone hopes for.

While my weekends are mostly reserved for weddings, I’m booking weekday family, maternity, and couples sessions throughout the summer at Belmar Beach and Asbury Park.

Want to make an evening of it? Grab pizza, get ice cream, stroll the boardwalk, or stay and watch the sunset after your session.

Big brother reporting for duty 🤍
Baby brother may have been the guest of honor, but someone else was pretty excited about the newest addition to the family. From sweet little nose-to-nose moments to constantly checking in on his new best friend, big brother’s silly energy made this session even sweeter.
These early days are never just about welcoming a new baby. They’re about watching a family grow and seeing everyone find their place in this brand new chapter together. 💙

I truly love newborn sessions and getting invited into such a meaningful season in my clients’ lives 🤍 Every home tells its own story, whether that’s a carefully decorated nursery, a puppy excitedly keeping watch over the baby, guitars and vinyls hanging on the wall, or a tiny plush repping Mom & Dad’s favorite sports teams. I love getting to document those little pieces of your life alongside all the snuggles, connection, and quiet in between moments that make these early days so special.

The spring is in full swing right now in New Jersey which means there is an explosion of color everywhere you look. The azaleas don’t last long but I’m so grateful every year while they show up for a few of my sessions. Here’s a little peek into this beautiful photo session at Sayen house & Gardens last weekend.
We had so much fun in such a short time capturing all these moments throughout the gardens.
