Business Tip Tuesday:

If you have a small business, then QuickBooks (or a comparable software) may just make your life a litter easier. I love this software because it makes invoicing fast, easy to track which invoices have been paid, and I can send reminders for overdue payments. The latter is a wonderful feature, because who doesn't hate sending the "hey, are you going to pay me or what" email.

On top of other useful gadgets like time tracking and automatic mile tracking, Quickbooks also integrates directly with TurboTax. So I know how much I owe each quarter and I can categorize all my transactions throughout the year, which then automatically get entered into my expense categories when I file my year end taxes.

And ice the cake, it's quite affordable! I use the QuickBooks self-employed which is about $15/month.
