For the second edit from this Class of 2027 senior session, we traded the coastal, vintage feel for something a little softer — golden meadow light, tall grasses, dreamy movement, warm tones, and that effortless, free-spirited senior portrait feel.

CLASS OF 2027 🎓✨ Your senior year is happening now — and it’s definitely not too late to book your senior portraits.

For this first edit, I went a little moodier… vintage, grainy, film-inspired, and a little nostalgic. The kind of photos that already feel like a memory. 🤎

We shot along the Intracoastal at Serenity Point in South Topsail, and I LOVE how this set turned out. Senior photos don’t have to feel overly posed, bright, or traditional. Your session can feel like YOU — your style, your personality, your senior year.

Late summer evenings on South Topsail Beach just hit different. 🌊✨

This sweet family of four — Mom, Dad, and their two little girls — spent the evening barefoot in the sand, soaking up those last bits of golden light and making the kind of memories that deserve more than a spot in your camera roll. 🤍

Bye, August. 👋🏼🌊☀️ You were a good one.

A little look back at some of the beautiful people, salty evenings, sandy toes, golden light, and memories I had the privilege of capturing this month. 🤍

I’m going to start doing these monthly photo dumps because sometimes I’m so busy shooting, editing, delivering galleries, and moving on to the next session that I forget to stop and appreciate just how much we created in one month.

And now… we’re heading into one of my BUSIEST seasons. 🍂🎄📸

If family holiday card photos are on your list this year, NOW is the time to book your session. My fall availability is limited, especially on weekends, as I’m intentionally keeping time blocked off for my own family too.

Tiny toes in the sand, salty hair, and two little ones making the beach their playground. 🌊🤍

Family photos with young kids aren’t about getting everyone to stand perfectly still and smile at the camera. They’re about letting them run, explore, snuggle Mom + Dad, splash at the water’s edge, and capturing all those little moments in between.

If you’re waiting until your kids are calmer, more cooperative, or magically willing to stand still for family photos… you might be waiting a while. 😂

These three sun-kissed, blonde-haired beach boys showed up to South Topsail Beach with ALL the energy, personality, and brother chaos — and honestly, that’s the good stuff.

We ran. We played. We let them be wild. We captured the sibling personalities, the sandy feet, the laughs, the in-between moments… and somehow Mom and Dad managed to look pretty dang cool through all of it. 😎
