Every year several families travel to Sandbridge and hire me to do their extended family photos! I love it, and we get tons of groupings. Most of our photos have the dunes in the background (for lighting purposes), but there's this magical time right before sunset where we can get the water in the background without everyone having to stare into the sun. It's magical!!

Whitney showed up for her cover photoshoot in a crisp white suit... and then the weather said, "Downpour!!!" ⛈️☔️

Thankfully, Whitney has nerves of steel, Williamsburg Inn was kind enough to let us use their lobby for some photos, and then the skies cleared and we utilized the outdoors as well!

Little Island Park in Sandbridge was realllllly showing out the other day! 🌊 ☀️

Sandbridge is about an hour from me, but I travel down there a few times each summer to photograph extended families on vacation. Honeslty, it's a lot of work photographing large extended families, but it's also the BEST!!! I get to see parents, grandparents, and grandchildren (and sometimes 4 or 5 generations!) hugging in for photos and celebrating being together as a family. ❤️

Yearly family photos are something special! I have 30-50 families that hire me annually for full or mini sessions, and it's always such a joy to see kids grow, hair colors change, to see the shy little kids come out of their shell, and to see the teens go from sweet to moody and back to sweet a few years later!

I'm here for all of it, and so grateful to watch the parents and kids grow!
