Raven and I have been mapping out the best vantage points on Schoodic Peninsula for my upcoming Nature Photography Workshop. Acadia NP never ceases to amaze me. The experience is much more than just a photo op; it’s about those specific moments where the ocean meets the granite. I can be wild or peaceful within a few hours.

Yesterday’s weather was a beautiful reminder that the busy season is just around the corner! 🌷 I’ve been revisiting my portfolio from last Summer to prep for the upcoming months. It’s always fun to look back at these moments and remember why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

We’ve had some spectacular visitors in Hancock this winter! For the first time, we’re seeing flocks of up to 20 Evening Grosbeaks at our home. It’s been incredible to watch these beautiful birds. They raid the feeders and disappear.

They seem to be following the cyclical uptick in Spruce Budworms, and reports of these beautiful birds are popping up all over Maine this year.
