Life has been moving so fast that I casually forgot to mention…I’m pregnant with baby #3, due in about 8 weeks… and it’s a BOY! 🐟💙

Part of me is VERY stressed about having two babies under one (Irish twins, as everyone keeps reminding me 😅) but the other part of me is so excited that I finally get to meet our baby boy. After two girls, this feels like such a sweet new adventure for our family. 🥰

A Tenaya Lake sunrise proposal followed by an engagement session through Tioga Pass 😍🏔️

Josh and I had been planning this moment for quite some time and when it comes to proposing along Tioga Pass, there are definitely a few extra logistics involved! There is little to no cell service, so we had a couple of phone calls and went back and forth through numerous emails to make sure the exact proposal location was pinned, he knew exactly where to go, and we had every detail planned before entering the park!

On the morning of the proposal, Josh brought Amy down to the shore of Tenaya Lake and completely surprised her as the sun began lighting up the mountains. She said YES, and afterward, we explored more of Tioga Pass for their engagement session! 🥹💍

The location, timing, lighting, parking, directions, and backup plans all matter. especially when you can’t rely on your phone once you arrive. I haven’t done a photo dump in months, so here’s a little bit of what July looked like 💕

Endless work trips to Yosemite, while still trying to fit in motherhood somewhere in between. 🤍

I’ve always had such a hard time balancing work and my personal life. Having an assistant has made things SO much easier, but I still struggle with it. Especially when I’m home and I know I have a million things to edit, emails to answer, and work waiting for me… but at the same time, my kiddos are in such delicate stages of life where they just need time with Mommy.

And I know one day I’m going to miss these stages so much.

I feel like any business owner who’s also a parent can relate. You’re constantly trying to figure out how to give 100% to your business without feeling like you’re taking something away from your family, and vice versa.

Hopefully one day I nail down this whole “balance” thing but for now, this momma is just doing the best she can 😅

And thankfully, I have the absolute best village and a husband who helps me more than I could ever ask for! Truly the best daddy ever.

Anyway… July, you were busy, chaotic, and adventurous 💕

I genuinely don’t even have the words to describe how whimsical Anna & Donovan’s sunrise Yosemite elopement was!✨

During our final planning call, Anna told me one of her friends, who works in Hollywood as a costume designer on some incredibly well known films, was hand-making her wedding dress. I was already so excited…

But nothing could have prepared me for THIS!! 😍

It looked like it walked straight out of a fairytale. Every detail was pure magic, and Anna looked like an actual princess!

Olivia ! , your talent is unreal! 🤍

And it gets even sweeter… Donovan’s tie was made from the very same fabric, with pieces of his grandmother’s wedding dress thoughtfully sewn into it. How incredibly meaningful is that?

This is only the tiniest glimpse into their day, and trust me… I’m holding back so much magic from this gallery. I seriously can’t wait to share the rest!!🥹

Malia and Kenny traveled all the way from Florida to make it official with the most unforgettable Yosemite National Park elopement! 🤍

Before their wedding day, we worked through multiple Yosemite locations, timeline options, lighting, weather, travel logistics, and backup plans to create a day that flowed beautifully from start to finish!

And wow… Yosemite gave us a little bit of everything! 😍 We saw deer and bears, experienced sunshine, rain, clouds, and even heard thunder rolling through the mountains. Then, as the final surprise of the day, we arrived at Taft Point to the most beautiful sunset… with the entire location completely to ourselves!! 🤯

Do you know how rare it is to have Taft Point all to yourself?! Absolutely unreal.🤩

There’s just something about photographing families in Yosemite that has my whole heart🥹

Maybe it’s because I’m a mom too, but these sessions are some of my absolute favorites. I love getting to know your little ones, sharing fun facts about Yosemite, letting them explore, and capturing who they truly are. Just real laughs, muddy shoes and the sweetest memories💕

The Cutter family was such a joy to spend the evening with! The boys were the definition of adventurous (which makes total sense because their family owns The Canyons Zip Line & Adventure Park 😍).L so freaking cool, right?!?

Your little ones won’t stay little forever. I can honestly say the photos hanging throughout my home are some of my most treasured possessions. They freeze the stages of childhood that seem to disappear way too quickly🥹
