Sam Oss, Photographer Explore. Create. Inspire. Missouri-based travel & landscape photographer. That’s a big responsibility, and it’s an honor to have people trust me with that.

I first discovered photography during my junior year at Shawano High School, when I had the opportunity to use a black-and-white film camera for my photography class. I remember I took a shot of a school bus driving away while lying in the grass—and that different perspective was really unique and exciting for me. During my senior year, I became a yearbook photographer and editor and started photo

graphing events like the Taste of Shawano, Shazzfest (Shawano Jazz Festival) and the Run for Trey fundraiser in White Water pro-bono to gain additional experience. After graduation, I began getting requests from friends and family to take senior and family portraits and photograph their weddings, and I’ve continued to build my business shooting events across the state ever since. I enjoy the challenge of capturing those moments perfectly—you really only have one chance to get it right. I’m a member of the Professional Photographers of America and will soon be teaching The Art of: Photography 101 at Shawano Community High School.
