Yesterday on the way to church, I was looking out the window, keeping an eye out for good photography locations as usual, and off in the distance, a patch of trees caught my eye. I’ve always loved evergreens (and trees in general), but this spot had the most beautiful burst of autumn color tucked right in the middle of them.

After church, I mentioned it to Jeremy and he grabbed the drone. We went back to find that same patch of trees. Seeing it from above, it was even more beautiful than I realized when we drove by. It felt like one of those moments the Lord sets in front of you on an ordinary morning, just to remind you to slow down and take it in.

Goody family sneak peeks!

I first met Chelsea four years ago when she was a bridesmaid at the very first wedding I ever photographed. Since then, I’ve had the joy of watching her beautiful family grow and capturing them through all their milestones.

It’s such a joy to watch families grow and to continue documenting their special moments. When a family continues to choose me to capture their memories, it truly fills me with gratitude. The Goody family is so sweet, and I’m so thankful our paths crossed all those years ago.

Digital Diadem is 4 years old!

When I began this business, Isaiah 62:3 became my why: “You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God.”

A diadem is a crown, a symbol of beauty, honor, and worth. That verse reminds me that this business is more than photography. It is part of the crown I will one day lay at the feet of Jesus. Every session, every story, every image is part of the offering I give back to Him.

But it is also about you. You are the diadem in God’s hands, treasured, valued, and seen as beautiful. My prayer is that while I work with you, you feel that truth. I hope you leave not only with photographs but also with a reminder of your worth and with encouragement that reflects the love of Christ.

These past four years have been full of growth, gratitude, and glimpses of God’s faithfulness. Thank you for allowing me the honor of capturing your moments and your stories.

As I look back with thankfulness, I also look ahead with excitement for all the ways God will continue to use Digital Diadem to point back to Him. 💛

Levi | Class of 2025 🎓

Getting to know Levi over the past two years, especially this year in a photography class that I taught, has been such a gift. His creativity, thoughtful presence, and the way he sees the world have left a lasting impact on my life.

Though the day of his session by the lake was chilly and windy, we pressed on and captured this unforgettable milestone in his journey. Senior year is such a meaningful chapter, and I’m so grateful to have been part of celebrating him in this season. Congratulations, Levi!

This senior session was such a dream! When her mom mentioned that Cordelia wanted to be in a stream for her session, I was ecstatic. From braving the chilly stream to climbing up a fallen log in her dress, she was up for all of my adventurous ideas and even had some of her own!
