🐾 PET SAFETY ALERT 🐾

The air quality in the Hanover area has reached the Very Unhealthy range due to wildfire smoke.

Our pets breathe the same air we do, and smoke can affect them quickly.

🐶 Keep pets indoors as much as possible. 🚶 Limit walks, playtime, and exercise outside. 💧 Make sure they have plenty of fresh water. ❤️ Watch for coughing, difficulty breathing, wheezing, watery eyes, or unusual tiredness.

Puppies, kittens, senior pets, flat-faced breeds, and pets with heart or lung conditions are especially vulnerable.

If your pet appears to be in respiratory distress, contact your veterinarian right away.

Please help spread the word and check on your neighbors' pets, too. Stay safe, Hanover! 🐾❤️

Building better drone search operations.
Over the past several weeks I've been studying search patterns used by search and rescue organizations, the U.S. Coast Guard, Civil Air Patrol, and other agencies to improve how drone teams operate in the field.
My goal is to develop a consistent, repeatable search system that can be used by multiple UAS teams at the same time while collecting useful mission data for future analysis.
I've also designed a mission flight log to document: ✅ Search patterns used ✅ Battery performance ✅ Ground coverage ✅ Weather and terrain ✅ Detection methods ✅ Mission outcomes
The more data we collect, the better we can improve search efficiency and help bring people and pets home faster.
I'm reaching out to other drone SAR pilots and organizations to compare techniques, learn from their experience, and continue improving this system.
Search and rescue is a team effort, and there's always something new to learn.
Fly smart. Search methodically. Document everything.

Had a chance to get a few packs in with the Pavo20 Pro 2. This little cinewhoop is a ton of fun—smooth, responsive, and perfect for backyard FPV flying.

Sometimes it's nice to put work aside and just enjoy flying for the fun of it. 🚁🤙

UPDATE: REUNITED

This dog has been missing since July 4th in the Crouse Mill / FSK area of Taneytown, MD.
If you're in the area, please keep an eye out. Do not chase, call out, or whistle if you see him—it may cause him to run farther away. Instead, note the location and call the number on the flyer immediately.
Even if you're not nearby, sharing this post could put it in front of the right person. Let's help get this boy home safely.
