Bidding has begun, enjoy and good luck!

This is a certificate which will entitle the bearer to have one of their own photographs printed onto canvas (canvas size will be 11 inches X 14 inches). The work is done by Kurt Tavares of The Art of Framing in Hanson, Mass. When you meet Kurt, you will quickly learn that he is, in fact, an artist,...

One of the lesser known services we offer is film scanning. If you have old strips of film we can scan them and digitize them! In addition to just scanning, we can also print from the film negatives so you can bring new life to the old images.

We are not a major chain, everything we scan is done in shop, at super high quality, and each scan is checked for perfection. Whether you want the scans printed or just saved to a memory device or DVD we can do it all!

Shown here is a scan from a Kodak negative shot in Chester, UK in February.

It has been a very busy holiday season over here at our shop! Quite a few long nights but very happy that all of our customers who needed framing and printing had their orders finished on time or early. A very big thank you to all of our customers, whether you had one small print or giant oversized frames and canvases, we appreciate every last one of you!

We will be open this coming Monday, December 21st and then we will be closed through Christmas, and will be open Monday, December 28th to Wednesday, December 30th. On Monday January 4th we will be back to our normal Monday - Friday business hours.

We had a lot of feedback on the last image we posted here, so here is one more before the New Year. I try and support many of my photographer friends, whether I purchase prints from them or trade a print for a print, I love other peoples images that they work so hard to create. I just finished framing one of my favorite photographs from a friend of mine, Matthew Christopher (Abandoned America). A truly wonderful shot from the now demolished Kirkbride building at the Taunton State Hospital which was completed in 1853 and stood until 2009 when the historic Kirkbride was demolished. Framed with a basic gold frame, with an acid free mat, and TruVue Museum Glass which is 99% UV Protective.

Wishing all of you a safe and happy Holiday season! If we don't see you in the last few business days of this year, we hope to see you in 2016! Side note- our new website should be launching in the next couple of weeks.

A wonderful piece we finished today! Cool story behind the painting... The customer who brought this piece in to get framed was getting this done for her father. He had received this small painting about 70 years ago as a tip when he was a young paper delivery boy and he has had it ever since. The lady who had given it to him, had painted this herself. All that is known about her is that she was born in 1875 and passed away not long after World War II.

Working with the customer we chose a thin ornate gold wooden frame, an acid free archival textured mat, and TruVue Museum Glass which has nearly no glare and cuts out 99% of UV. This wonderful piece is now safely preserved for the customers father, as well as for future generations to enjoy.
